Unfortunately there is not much research on CBD oil in dogs at this point. People like to recommend it for many, many different problems ranging from arthritis to seizures to anxiety, but there is no evidence at this point that it helps. If you want to post your question again and give more specifics on Eddie's condition we might be able to give you a better idea as to whether or not others have used CBD, or we might be able to suggest some other supplements to try.

Unfortunately, there are not a lot of studies out there yet to determine how efficacious CBD oil is in pets (this is due in part to the legal status by the federal government). On it's own, most medications and supplements will not work. Anxiety is best addressed with a multi-model approach of desensitization, exercise and medication/supplement. As of yet, we have very little research on CBD oil in veterinary patients, so we cannot make any recommendations one way or the other about this product - we do not know what an appropriate dose might be, and if there are any potential health concerns or drug interactions in dogs. In addition, because it's a schedule 1 drug, it's illegal for us to prescribe or recommend. I'd speak to Hank's vet about his anxiety, there may be medication you can give him to help. Best of luck.

There are medications that can work for dogs like Oscar with anxiety, and I would speak to her about that. Best of luck.
