Dog has red spots, sore hot spots, and won't eat. What should I do?

Hello doc. My boerbel dog has red spots on his skin and on his two hind legs are sore like wounds like a hot spot wound, and he's not also eating properly. What can i do to treat it? Thanks . am Jane from Nigeria. Pet's info: Dog | Boerboel | Male

It sounds like Merlin may ha e a skin infection, called pyoderma. Other possibilities include fungal infection, immune disorder, or even cancer. I would highly encourage you to have him evaluated by your veterinarian as soon as possible. In the meantime you can consider bathing in chlorhexidine or salicylic acid shampoo.
