My pregnant cat passed a sac. Is this normal for cat labor or an emergency?

Hello, my cat is pregnant and she’s due anytime now. But this morning I woke up and she left this next to me. Should I be worried ? What is this?? It looks like a sac, not sure. Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 3 months old

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! That is concerning! If she doesn’t start to have kittens in the next 24 hours from when you found that tissue I’d have her seen. It’s hard to tell you what that this is. It could be part of the placenta, a resorbed fetus or the remains of something she passed and ate. I hope this helps!
