Hi there and thank you for using pet coach! In my honest opinion, I am a big fan of Science Diet and Royal Canin as my go to recommended dog foods. Both brands offer very well balanced diets that have gone through extensive research. My late dog, that was 20 years old, was on science diet his entire life and I contribute part of his longevity to a great diet. I hope this helps guide you in the right direction. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.

Hi there and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I am a fan of Science Diet and Royal Canin. I think both of these commercial diets have well balanced formulations for Sharon. The adult large breed in Science Diet would be a good choice. I contribute longevity in animals to a good balanced diet. My previous dog, who lived to 20 years of age, was on Science Diet his entire life and he was happy and healthy for almost all 20 years. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.

Hi there and thank you for using pet coach! From personal experience, I would recommend using science diet or royal canin as the primary food. My previous dog lived to be 20 years of age and he was a science diet dog. I am a firm believer that a good healthy diet leads to increased longevity of our pets. I hope this helps guide you in the right direction. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.

Anything that is balanced and follows AAFCO standards should be good. If you're looking for heavily tested/reputable foods. Science Diet is always a good choice. Other brands such as Nutro are also well-balanced and have a variety of diets that you can tailor to your dog. I would avoid grain-free unless Kira has a specific allergy to an ingredient. If she's very active, looking into a high protein/performance diet may also be a good idea, but this is usually only for dogs that are working all day/athletes, etc and isn't really needed for a pet dog.
