If a dog has Brucellosis,will the puppies born still everytime she mate? Because she had puppies last year and they all lived.

Yes, they will all die from now on. There is no cure for brucellosis once it has been contracted and it is not possible to have live puppies with this disease. If she had a live litter last year then she would have been infected with brucellosis at the next breeding. If I remember correctly from your last post you said she has had two still born litters. I was under the impression they were both recent. Regardless, you will not know if she has brucellosis without testing for it Hope this helps. Best wishes.

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Brucellosis is a serious bacterial infection of the reproductive tract and can cause as high as 75% risk of still births or resorption. So I guess it is possible that she could have beat the odds and had a successful litter. Brucellosis can also cause infertility. So if Sparks tested positive she is at risk for failure to conceive, resorption of the fetuses, abortion, still births and puppies dying right after birth. I hope this helps!
