Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Mediumhair | Male | unneutered | 3.2 lbs
Chance was diagnosed with a UTI and formerly Coccidia (his PCR/GI panel was clean). He's been treated with Albon, Metronidazole and Convenia. But he's still peeing on himself and has been passing stool at the same time. His stool is either well formed or yellow or gray diahrrea. What is happening to my cat?

I would recommend a urinalysis to make sure the urinary tract infection is completely gone. I would even recommend a urine culture (although can be expensive) it will be a definitive answer. The culture will tell you what type of bacteria and what antibiotics are best. With regards to the stool, I would recheck a stool sample, put Chance on a bland diet and god from there. Depending on his age will depend on what different differentials would be on the list and what we would do next. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
