My dog hasn't pooped since this morning. Is this normal for dogs?

Dogs are much like people in this regard. Anywhere from 3 times a day to every other day can be normal. If Ozzy is happy, eating, playing, and urinating normally, don’t worry about it. As long as he poops within 24-36 hours I’m not panicking. Do watch for straining, blood, or any other concerning signs. If you see any of these, it’s time to see the vet.

    I wouldn't be concerned at this point as it might just be normal, especially if he isn't straining to defecate and the stool appeared normal. Monitor him over the next couple days for diarrhea and/or straining and schedule an appointment with a vet if you notice anything abnormal.
