My dog is drooling and seems nauseous. What can I give him to feel better?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered | 2 years old | 50 lbs

Shadow has been drooling for a little bit today, so I naturally assumed it’s nausea and gave him some of his dr recommended cbd drops. Those take a little while to kick in but is there anything else I can do to make him feel Better? He has no other symptoms that are noticeable so far.

There are a number of anti-nausea options that may be herbal (such as ginger), over the counter (such as Pepcid https://www.veterinarypartner.com/Content.plx?P=A&S=0&C=0&A=620) or prescription (such as Cerenia https://www.veterinarypartner.com/Content.plx?P=A&S=0&C=0&A=2798) medications that you could also give if Shadow has problems with nausea. I would recommend contacting your veterinarian and asking for their recommendation for Shadow. Good luck! I hope that was helpful and that Shadow feels better soon. Thanks for using PetCoach.
