My puppy's sibling has worms. Should I give my puppies dewormer?

Last night my sister told me that her puppy has worms.the puppy comes from the same litter of puppies does that mean the other puppies have worms,too? If not can you give the other puppies dewormer medicine to prevent worms in the other puppies? I gave my sister the puppy almost a week and half ago

Often puppies from the same litter will have worms. Find a Dewormer that is rated for the size and age of the puppies and use as directed on the box. (PetCo sells Bayer Quad Dewormer that should get all worm types and is rated for puppies 2lbs and up.) It is usually recommended to treat any puppies that are living together all at the same time.
