My dog is scared of everything and has panic attacks. How can I help?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Siberian Husky | Female | spayed | 6 months and 5 days old | 35 lbs

My dog kaijah has cracked paws and she is scared of the paw palm and I admit I was a little aggressive. She goes to training and she is also scared of her brush and she has panic attacks when we try to crate train her, plus many more issues and I don’t know what to do we are very frustrated with her.

I am sorry to hear about Kaijah! This type of behavior is often due to anxiety. I would strongly recommend talking to your vet about anti-anxiety/ behavior modificatiion medication which can make a huge difference! Training will be so much more effective once this type of medication is started. While you’re at the vet, have him/her look at the feet. I see many cracked pads that are not concerning and do not need treatment at all. Hope this helps and best of luck to you and Kaijah!
