My dog keeps throwing up yellow/brown vomit daily, should I worry?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 19 lbs

My dog keeps throwing up, about once a day for three days, twice today. It’s yellow with white foam some times brown. I’m really worried. I thought it maybe worms but he just had a worm treatment maybe one or two months ago.

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Vomiting can be observed with conditions such as gastroenteritis, pancreatitis, dietary indiscretion, gastrointestinal foreign body ingestion and obstruction, among other possibilities. For this reason, I highly recommend that you have Chewy evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment as soon as possible as I am afraid she is likely becoming dehydrated. They would be able to check for these possibilities and also check her hydration status and give her medications to make her feel better. Good luck!

Much more information wold be required as to when and what she is vomiting, how frequently and any other clinical signs before any sort of recommendation as to management could be made. You could repost with more information or request a consult with us but if KC is losing weight or unable to keep the majority of her food and water down she should receive a full physical exam by your vet as soon as possible
