Pet's info: Dog | Rat Terrier | Female | spayed | 11 years and 7 months old | 17 lbs
I asked a question a few weeks ago and this is the file up to that. My Rat Terrier, Foofie, had surgery, 3 teeth pulled and biopsy on the growth of her upper jaw. We decided to have the surgery because of the great advice I received here. Anyway she has cancer. They says it's inoperable and she could have a year but you never know. It's there anything I can do? Diet? Holistic methods? We are against chemo or radiation at her age and our vet was against it as well. Thank you so much!

I'm so very sorry to hear about Foofie. There is quite a bit that can be accomplished with holistic options including Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine. I have had quite good luck with mouth tumors with Chinese herbal therapies. But you need to have someone trained in using them in order to get good results. I would see if there is anyone near you trained in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine here. http://www.tcvm.com/Resources/FindaTCVMPractitioner.aspx Another option would be to find a holistic practitioner here. https://www.ahvma.org/find-a-holistic-veterinarian/ Either type of practitioner should be able to help you with diet and herbal recommendations for Foofie. Good luck! I hope that was helpful. Thanks for using PetCoach.
