Increasing water intake with wet food, fresh water fountains and freshly boiled chicken broths can help flush the bladder and reduce discomfort. Natural calming supplements and glucosamine can also help with stress, anxiety and bladder repair.

Ideally, you should have your veterinarian show you how to do it since it would be much easier. If you can get her to urinate more frequently on her own, that would be best. Offer a canned diet which is 75% moisture. Mixing in warm water to canned or dry food will also increase fluid intake.
