Why does my senior lovebird throw up clear foam every spring?

My my 16 year old love bird regegrts a clear foam every spring at this time. Should I worry ? He getting older now.

Hi and thank you for the question, This sounds like part of his breeding behavior, and if it has been like that all along and he is otherwise behaving normally, I do not see reason for concern. However, at his age a yearly health check at the vet is recommended. Regards
