My intact dog has separation anxiety. Will chemical castration help?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | unneutered | 2 years and 3 months old | 15 lbs

my dog has seperation anxiety, the vets wont castrate him , every few months is terrible as we have bitches around us. he gets really frustrated , is there anything we can do to help him , ive read about chemical castration , would this work for him, he is 2 years 3 months old

Alfie being intact will not affect if he has separation anxiety but there is no reason why they wouldn't want to castrate him. I would discuss neutering him with another veterinarian if your veterinarian will not. Not all veterinary clinics perform chemical castration so I would discuss this with a veterinarian in your area if you would rather do this procedure.
