Why is my young budgie humping my hand? Is this normal behavior?

My baby budgie just humped my hand he's only like 3 months old none of my budgies have ever done this is it normal what did I do. Pet's info: Bird | Unknown - Bird | Male | unneutered

It isn't common, but it can happen. If it happens again, ignore the behavior or gently distract him with a toy or piece of food. Avoid petting or scratching his back or under the wings and do not "beak wrestle" with him. These are all courting behaviors.
