My chihuahua mix has a new bump or sore under his chin. What now?

I just noticed this under my chihuahua mix’s chin tonight. I can’t tell if it’s a scrape or a sore or something growing from his face or what it is. Any thoughts?

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This looks like a focal infection or traumatic injury. I recommend that you have Lito evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. If an infection is confirmed, they may start Lito on antibiotics. Good luck and have a good night!
