My calf ate box shrub leaves. Lethargic, teeth grinding. What to do?

We have a three month old cow that ate some leaves from a box shrub yesterday. Since then she has barely drank any of her milk (which she usually is a pig for), and is more lethargic. I also noticed her grinding her teeth today which per a forum, indicates GI pain? Any suggestions on what to do?

The leaves were probably toxic. As it’s already been a few days she should be recovering. If she’s worse you need veterinary care. They can give her something to absorb the toxin and help relieve the pain and have her pass the leaves. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to help you care for Betty.
