Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 2 years and 2 months old | 50 lbs
We took our dog to the beach. Outdoor temperature was about 90F. She was very active but was in the cool ocean frequently to cool off. We had fresh water for her and shade. She insisted in laying on the sand. When we were walking home, I believe the sand got too hot and my husband carried her. She doesn’t appear to have any heat burns but she is uncomfortable and moaning. We take her outside and she wants to eat grass. She is slightly breathing hard but not panting or vomiting.

This is a sign that something is wrong with her tummy, it could be a infection or something she ate, withhold food for 8 hours then offer her boiled boneless chicken and rice every 6 hours in small portions. if she is eating and not vomiting, continue with this diet for 2 days. After 2 days, you can put her back gradually on her normal food.
