Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female
My dog has just peed twice with probably less than an hour in between those two urinations, something we've never seen her do before. Additionally, in the second puddle of urine, we noticed she had blood mixed in with it. We don't know what exactly was the cause, but, considering she has cancer in one of her nipples and in her left leg, we're thinking that her cancer has spread.

Poor girl. So sorry to hear she has cancer. Frequent urination, blood in the urine, and small amounts can be a sign of a urinary tract infection, bladder or kidney stones, bladder inflammation, or bladder cancers. Without some testing and an exam, we can't say for sure which of those it is. We will hope for something simple. She will need an exam, a urine test, and some xrays of that bladder. Give your veterinarian a call in the morning for an appointment.

Queeny is very cute! Blood in the urine generally indicates an infection, urinary crystals or bladder stones. All of these are generally uncomfortable as well. I would recommend to take Queeny into the veterinarian as soon as you can to have her urine checked. The doctor may recommend further diagnostics based the on the results. She will receive pain medications which will make her feel better. I hope this helps!

I am very sorry to hear that Henney is unwell. If you are noticing accidents in the house and now blood in her urine it is very likely that Henney has a urinary tract issue. This could be cystitis or inflammation/infection of the bladder or an issue higher up in her kidneys. My advice is to take her to a vet as soon as you can to have the issue diagnosed with a urine analysis and have a treatment plan developed for Henney. Best of luck to you both and please post any further questions you may have. We are here to help you!

Poor DazyMay! Stress should not cause bloody urine in dogs, so I would be concerned that she probably has a medical issue causing this, such as a urinary tract infection or bladder stones. I would recommend taking her to the vet when you can to have this checked - he/she can do a urinalysis as well as x-rays or ultrasound of her bladder if needed to help determine the problem and get her started on appropriate treatment.
