My cat just had kittens. Why is she sick, vomiting, unresponsive?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 5 months old | 15 lbs

Hi, I am a resident from New Delhi, India. I love my cat named Whitey. She is a stray cat but has been living with me for a year. Today, she is acting weirdly. She vomited a little, then hid under the table for 15 minutes. Then she sat on my sofa for an hour. She is not interacting with any of us. I am getting worried. She recently became pregnant and gave birth to 3 healthy kittens. The age of the kittiens would be 15-20 days. Now, Whitey is laid next to her babies and not responding.

I am very concerned about what you describe especially being just 2-3 weeks postpartum. I worry that she may have a uterine infection, a retained fetus, or a possibly mastitis. I would highly encourage you to have him evaluated by your veterinarian as soon as possible. Best of luck and I hope she improves soon. Thank you for using Pet Coach.
