Why are my senior poodle's legs weak, off balance, bloated, and drinking a lot?

Pet's info: Dog | Toy Poodle | Female | unspayed | 17 years and 5 months old | 20 lbs

I have a 17 year old toy poodle. About four days ago she seemed bit off she was sleeping for the better part of a day. When she finally got up I noticed her hind legs seemed weak and she has trouble walking straight. She seems to be off balance at times. Her belly also looks a bit bloated but her appetite hasn't gone. She has also been drinking water constantly whenever she gets the chance and urinating every couple of hours.

She may have an underlying disease such arthritis or spondylosis in her hips or back causing her to not be very strong in the rear legs. These may also be signs of an infected uterus since she is not spayed. At her age, kidney disease and diabetes can occur and often start with drinking more and urinating more. Your vet can do a blood panel to check and an x ray to see what medications are best to keep her comfortable more.
