Cat vomiting on Clavamox. How long before dose to give Cerenia?

Question

Cat is vomiting but she is on Clavamox until it runs out. She's been taking her doses fine for the most part since she started on Wednesday. I have cerenia tablets my vet gave me but unsure how long before her clavamox dose to give it to her or how long after vomiting to wait? Her vet is closed on Sunday so I can't call to ask. Thanks. Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Mediumhair | Female | unspayed | 18 years and 6 months old | 6.6 lbs

Hi there and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. The clavamox could be the cause of the vomiting as this is a common side effect with clavamox. I would give the cerenia about an hour prior to the clavamox. Food should be given with the clavamox as well. I hope this helps guide you in the right direction.
