Pet's info: Dog | Doberman Pinscher | Female | spayed | 10 years and 8 months old | 14 lbs
I have a small miniature Doberman who is 10 years old. In running on wooden floor she slipped pretty hard and fell landing first on her back left hip. It’s been 5 days and I am now seeing a hard lump with a radius slightly larger than a quarter. No difference in her everyday nor eating. When touching it and slightly pressing it, it doesn’t bug. In most cases would this possibly be a blood clot that needs to be removed?

In most cases this would be fluid swelling under the skin and there is no need to remove it. Considering she is otherwise normal and is not sensitive to it, it will be fine to just monitor it for now. If it happens to get very big (larger than a baseball), or she is having other issues, then I'd recommend a visit to the vet. Otherwise, it should start to go down within two weeks. I hope that helps and all is well with Missy.
