Hi my dog has just started bleeding, and we were wondering how many days we should wait till we get her artificially inseminated? The answer we found online is wait 10 days from the start of bleeding, is this right ?

It can vary per dog as it can be day 7-12. The best way to increase your chances with AI is to have your vet check her. They can either do a vaginal cytology to look at the cells. There cells can tell you which stage of estrus she is in for when breeding will be ideal. They can also do blood work to check the progesterone levels to determine peak time
