My puppy ate a Hershey's Kiss (chocolate & wrapper). What should I do?

Hello, My puppy just ate a Hershey’s kiss (chocolate and wrapper)! He’s 13 lbs. Can we/do we need to do anything?

Well that wasn't good of Winston to eat that Hershey's kiss! The good news is that one is not likely to cause any problems. It's very small and doesn't contain enough chocolate to cause any toxic symptoms. He should be fine, so I wouldn't do anything for him except monitor him to be safe. You potentially could see some mild GI upset, but otherwise he should be fine. Keep him away from the kisses in the future! Thanks for contacting Pet Coach!

    Given the same size of the Hershey kiss and the fact there isn't a lot of chocolate in it, I would not be worried about Chloe. There will likely be no reaction to that amount of chocolate, and she should be fine :-)
