What food is best for my 7-month-old kitten with gas and loose stool?

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 7 lbs
Looking for a good food for our 7 month old kitty. He seems to have horrible gas. Right now he is eating Purina One kitten dry food. A bit of funny stool as of yesterday but not as much today.

I would have Axl checked out by a vet first. Medical problems such as a GI illness and intestinal worms can cause the gas and funny stool. Should he have one of these problems, the vet can treat him for it. If a medical problem is ruled out, brands of kitten food I recommend include Royal Canin, Hill's Science Diet, and Iams. Hi. With loose stools at this age, I would first have the fecal checked for worms. I would also have him examined and make sure all is ok from the outside, then if all is ok, I would switch to kitten science diet, kitten royal canin, or iams kitten slowly over 5-7 days.
