My stray cat has skin knots. Is it ringworm? Can it spread to me?

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female

Hello, we brought in a stray cat just before Thanksgiving, at the time she had been outdoors for approximately 3 months (we believe she was left here by a previous tenant or wandered from home during hurricane Harvey) at first we thought she had flea bites, although we have not seen fleas since we had her, due to the small knots all over her body. They went away, but have came back over the past few weeks, and bf has appear to have a ringworm, could this be a skin disease from the cat?

Hi there, It sounds like Midnight could have a skin infection for parasites, fleas, or allergies. Cats can pass ringworm to humans but he could have contracted it somewhere else as well. I would start with having Midnight checked by your vet. They can perform skin testing to narrow down what the cause it, and prescribe medication to clear things up. I hope that helps!
