My cat is throwing up and won't eat after finishing Clavamox.

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Longhair | Female | unspayed

Okay, so a few weeks ago, I took my cat, Peaches, to the vet to get spayed and I paid for a blood test and it turned out that she had a high white blood cell count, so they put her on Clavamox and she just had her last pill today and she is throwing up and won’t eat. She was completely fine with the 2 weeks of pills just until the last day. I got her some wet food and have kept her away from the other cats. She is throwing up just about every hour or two. Maybe more. She is throwing up bile

Peaches is adorable! I would recommend calling your veterinarian. I have seen cases where they got an upset stomach the last day or two on the antibiotics and maybe now since she is no longer going to be taking them she will feel much better. I just would make sure there is nothing else going on. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
