I am sorry to hear that Ace is not himself. Increased Licking and salvation can be signs of nausea. It sounds possible that Ace be have a gastrointestinal infection. I would advise the following; Bland diet of boiled chicken breast and white rice for three days. If diarrhoea or vomiting begin, Ace seems lethargic or in pain, he does not start to improve over tbhe next few days, take him to the veterinarian immediately.
