Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 8 lbs

I give my cat,who has kidney problems some baby food (pic attached ) in order to distract him while giving him fluids trough drip. Is that bad for him?

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I think if it is small amounts to help get his fluids in that is fine! Getting the fluids in likely outweighs the baby food! I wouldn't worry! I hope this helps and I wish you and Spagetti The best!
