Why does my pug puppy's snout smell and have white specs in wrinkles?

Hi, so I recently got a pug puppy for Christmas and after a couple of weeks we started noticing that her snout smells? Right after she plays, her wrinkle area gets really damp that you could see the fur separate because of all of the moisture. I clean her wrinkles everyday & I check wrinkles when she's asleep because thats the only time she will let me but everything seems to be fine. I did look tonight though and I found some little white specs in a little corner, but its not a lot. Pet's info: Dog | Pug | Female | unspayed

Hello. Thanks for using PetCoach. Great question! Pugs get yeast build up in those folds. What you are smelling is the yeast. You need to use medicated wipes to combat this. Regular baby wipes won't work. It is also recommended that you clean the folds 1-2x per day. I recommend you use these: http://www.allivet.com/p-1479-malacetic-wet-wipes.aspx Hope this helps.
