Toby is adorable! As long as Toby is acting normal, eating normal, not vomiting and there is no blood you can always try boiled chicken and white rice as a bland diet for him. If any other symptoms develop or he has diarrhea for more then 2 days I recommend a visit to your veterinarian. Dogs can get diarrhea for many different reasons. It can be from stress, a new food or treat, intestinal parasites, foreign body, etc. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.

Hi and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. I am so sorry to hear that Toby has intermittent diarrhea and foul smelling flatulence. I would actually recommend taking Toby to see a veterinarian to determine he does not have intestinal parasites. This is incredibly common in puppies and could be a reason as to why this is happening. If he is negative for parasites, I would evaluate what food you are feeding him and how much/how often you are feeding him. I would recommend any puppy food from Hills, Purina or Royal Canin and feed according to the back of the bag. Good luck!
