Are big chunks in dwarf hamster food safe or should I change it?

Hello, I have two 20 week old dwarf hamsters called robotits. I bought them adult hamster and gerbil food and there is big lumps in it , should I buy them diffrent food or will that food be ok?

Most hamsters will gnaw in these chunks to help file down their teeth. Watch them closely to make sure they are eating well and acting normally. If you find they are always leaving these chunks behind, you may want to look for a food with smaller pellets. I hope this helps!
