Is homemade wet food safe for dogs, especially with megaesophagus?

Wanted a professional opinion on homemade dog food. I spend $300 every 8 weeks on dog food because one of my dogs has Megaesophagus. Gets dry food, water, then chunky wet food to push it all down. Wondering if I can make homemade wet food for her and maybe my other dog too. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 2 years and 8 months old | 50 lbs
