My dog has a pea size hard bump on her head. That's the only part that has no hair, and seems to bother her when I touch it. Is it something I should be concerned about? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | unspayed | 9 years and 1 month old | 18 lbs

I wouldn't be too worried about this. It appears to be localized to the skin and has benign properties, so it's likely a cyst or benign tumor. It's always possible that this is something more serious though. For now, you are safe to just monitor it.
