Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | unneutered | 8 months and 19 days old | 5 lbs
So I made some queso and some of it fell on the floor. Probably about a quarter size amount and I didn't realize it until I noticed my 8 month old kitten licking the rug it fell on. He weighs close to 10 pounds but he hasn't been weighed in 2 months and could be more. He's eating, drinking and acting normal. This happened about 15 minutes ago. I've attached the ingredients. Is there a chance of toxicity? Should I take him to the emergency vet? Thank you in advance.

Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I can see that there was some garlic and onion in the salsa, which can be toxic to pets. However, these ingredients are toxic in larger amounts, and it does not seem like you used much of the salsa in your queso. I recommend keeping a close eye on Marvin - he should be seen by a vet if he develops lethargy, vomiting, or inappetance. I hope all is well!
