My dog is vomiting, lethargic, and has bloody stool. Is it my virus?

Dog is vomiting and has a brown red discharge from anus. Also lethargic, licking herself. 8 years old lab, has been vomiting for 3 days, lost appetite. Drinking ok, but often vomit afterwards as well. We had a virus that got every family member, all 4 of us were vomiting and had diarrhea last week. Could it be that our dog got it from us? Or is it something else? Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | unspayed | 8 years and 2 months old | 70 lbs

Your dog did not get it from you. It sounds as Bella is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking her to the vet the first chance you get, she will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection she will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better. if the vet thinks it is more serious she will need a blood test and possibly an ultrasound in order to find out what is wrong.
