My rescue dog barks constantly due to anxiety. How can I help?

Question

Hi I'm a dog minder and look after a one and a half rescue terrier/ Westie mix. He barks from the minute he arrives till he leaves ( almost). There are about 4 other dogs here who are all quiet including his "sister" . How can I stop him barking as I'm at my wits end. Thank you. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | 2 years and 1 month old

I’m sorry you’re dealing with this! This type of behavior is often due to anxiety. I would strongly recommend talking to your vet (or having the owner talk to his vet) about anti-anxiety/ behavior modificatiion medication which can make a huge difference in making Nugget AND you more relaxed and comfortable.
