Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 30 lbs
A vet said that Mixie’s lump is a cyst. Also, she has had it for years and it has never bothered her, so I figured that’s what it was. What are some home remedies I can do to get rid of the cyst naturally? I’ve read that you can do a warm compress, coconut oil, castor oil, and tumeric in their food. Mixie would probably get upset if I touched it and would lick the oil off. So, what would be the best home remedy to use on Mixie?

Unfortunately, there is no home remedy that always works. If it isn't bothering her, it isn't ruptured, and it isn't growing, then I would honestly just leave it alone. Sometimes the more you mess with it, the more likely it will get infected and rupture. You can try the turmeric in her food, but a lot of dogs don't like the way it tastes. I would stay away from castor oil as I have seen dog get an upset stomach from it. If it starts to bother her or grow, I would talk to your vet about having it surgically removed as this is the best long term option. I hope this helps!
