Cat poops white rice like worms. Went to vet and they did fecal exam and it was negative.

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! It sounds like tapeworm segments. It isn’t uncommon to have tapeworm and have a negative stool sample. The sample would need to have the segments in the stool and crushed. I’d call your Vet and describe the tapeworm. I usually prescribe medications even if the fecal test was negative. Be sure Andrew is in flea prevention. Fleas are the most common cause for tapeworm. I hope this helps and I wish Andrew the best!
