My guinea pig mated while pregnant. What is the white plug?

Hey can you help me? I hate to bother you, but... I have a guinea pig that's 3 to 4 weeks pregnant. But when I put the male and female together on my bed, I went to the bathroom and then I heard her squealing, i came back in and they were mating. Then I checked her out and there was a weird white plug in her vagina. Could she have a chance of having two different litters at different times or could she have not been pregnant. And if she is pregnant with two different litters, is it safe?

Hello. I have never heard of a pregnant guinea allowing herself to be mated. I suspect that was not pregnant. The white "plug" you saw coming from her vulva was probably the male's semen. This means she is probably pregnant now and will deliver pups in 9-10 weeks.
