Can I use shock collars or hit my dog to correct bad behavior?

Pet's info: Dog | Siberian Husky | Male | unneutered | 58 lbs

Hello. Is corporal punishment ok for dogs??? Can I sometimes use that ? What about shocking to teach them how to behaviour well???

No. This is not acceptable. If your dog's behavior is so severe that you are considering this type of punishment then I suggest you seek the help of a professional dog trainer or re-home the dog to someone that can potentially get the dog trained. This time of punishment will only make things worse and is cruel.

    I personally disapprove any form of violence to train dog but also there are studies that prove isn't an helpful technique. I would suggest to study some up to date techniques that praise positive behaviors; there are considered more effective and definitely respectful for you life companion.
