My dog's diarrhea poop is red, then dark, now black. What to do?

My dog on the other day has a diarrhea. And yesterday she poop red and mucous, in the afternoon dark brown poop. And now its black. Im so worried about her health. What should i do?

This is serious. She has some intestinal bleeding. It could be from medication, cancer, an infection or from something she ate. I recommend a blood panel and X-rays to determine the problem.     Hello, thank you for your question about Manny. Based on the symptoms you describe it sounds like Manny is experiencing some kind of GI problem leading to inflammation/diarrhea. There are many different GI problems that can lead to this, such as dietary allergies, ingestion of foreign material, intestinal parasites, etc. If Manny still has a good appetite and attitude you could try offering him a bland diet of boiled chicken/hamburger and white rice to try and settle his stomach. If the abnormal stool continues or he develops any additional symptoms such as vomiting, lack of appetite, or lethargy I would recommend having him seen by a veterinarian.
