My puppy chewed a sandal and swallowed a small piece. Is he okay?

Question

So my shiba inu was chewing on a sandal and unfortunately something came off and I was no paying attention so I assume he sallow it.Will he be okay?I will include a picture of what it originally looked like and after he sallowed it. Pet's info: Dog | Shiba Inu | Male | unneutered | 5 months and 14 days old | 28 lbs

Hachi is adorable! It looks like the piece that has come off the sandal is very small, so hopefully Hachi will be able to pass that normally through this GI tract. You will want to closely monitor for any signs of a GI obstruction which would include vomiting, not feeling well or not wanting to eat. If you see any of those signs, I would recommend having Hachi examined by your veterinarian right away. Good luck! I hope that was helpful and that Hachi will be fine.
