Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | neutered | 9 years and 3 months old | 105 lbs
I have a 10 and a half year old very large black lab. He does not have accidents in the house and I woke up this morning to one pile of very dry hard fecal matter and another one that was partly hard and partly gushy. He is lying in my son's bed shaking and when I look into his eyes, I see fear. I was a home health aide and had a patient die and when I look into his eyes they look the same as hers did. He has not been sick and and this just started today. Do you think it is the end?

So sorry that Marley is having this issue. I really don't know the answer to your question. I suppose it could be the end but I could not possibly tell you that without examine Marley myself. I suggest you get him to a vet for an exam. You need to find out what is wrong before assuming it is the end for him. There may a simple explanation and there may be some medication that could help him. I think it would be wise to get him examined as soon as you can get him in for an exam. Best wishes.
