Why does my pregnant cat have dry skin and spots on her nipples?

My cat is a little more than a month pregnant. Shas some spots and dry skin around her nipples abd I am concerned about them. This is her second pregnancy, but she did not want to keep her first birn because she wouldnt let them feed. Can you please tell me if I should be worried about these spots abd dry skin? Thanks in advanced, Annalise

I would recommend a full health check as any painful skin in this area would reduce the chance that she will successfully rear kittens and any infection could be transferred to the nursing kittens. An omega fatty acid supplement may help as a natural antiinflammatory and moisturiser
