Its been a little over an hour and half since my cat walked directly where a paper bag that held a toilet brush my cousin used to scrub the toilet after pouring toilet bowl cleaner into. Previously was. I dont know if there was any residue that got onto the floor from the bag but She licked her paws before I could do anything. the floor looks dry so I cant tell if there is any residue or not shes eating she has had some milk. Does she need a vet?.. when will signs appear she ingested some?...

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! If the floor looked dry I am sure she is fine. I do not think she needs to see a vet. If you want to rinse her mouth out well with water as a precaution and wipe her paws well with water to prevent any more possible ingestion that isn't wrong. If she becomes lethargic, drools, won't eat or in anyway appears abnormal then bring her to the Vet. But based on your description I think she will be fine. Maybe have a discussion with your roommate about this so it won't happen again. I hope this helps!

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! If she ingested enough to cause a problem I would expect signs to show up quickly, within a few hours. If there are no signs in 24 hours I think you are in the clear. Based on your description I believe Mirz will be fine. But since you are so worried maybe it’s best to have your Vet examine her. I hope this helps!
