My dog is vomiting, regressing on potty training. Is it heartworms?

Gracie is throwing up lots! More than you would consider normal. I’m worried about heartworms, could this Be this heartworms. Also, she has regressed from being potty trained. I can put her pad down and she will urinate and defacate on anything from Rugs, towels, anything but her pad. Will come straight in from outside and pee in the floor. Pet's info: Dog | Boston Terrier | Female | unspayed | 6 months and 5 days old | 4 lbs

That is unlikely to be related to heart worms, but more likely to dietary indiscretion. As a first approach I would recommend to withhold food for the next 8-12 hours and then start feeding with a bland diet based on boiled chicken and rice in small portion every 6 hours for the following 48hours. Then gradually reintroduce the normal diet over 5 days. I would definitively recommend a veterinary check up if the signs persist or you notice diarrhoea, more vomiting, lethargy or inappetence.
