Just got an underweight Great Dane. How can I help her gain weight?

Pet's info: Dog | Great Dane | Female | unspayed | 2 years old | 100 lbs

How can I fatten up my great Dane? I just got her and the past owners under feed her.

Just feed her 10-15% more than the recommended amount for her ideal weight, you can feed her 3-4 times a day until she starts putting on some weight then go back to feeding twice a day once she fattens up a little.

    Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! She is gorgeous!!! She looks like she is at a healthy weight for her age so I do not think that you need to get her to gain more weight rather you should keep doing what you are doing so that she continues to be at a healthy weight for her age. Keep in mind pups sometimes can show their ribs and that does not necessarily mean that they are underweight unless they are showing excessively. Keep up the good work!
